Russia registers 4,556 new COVID-19 cases, 86 deaths

MOSCOW, 28th May, 2022 (WAM) — Russia has recorded 4,556 new COVID-19 cases and 86 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the Russian health authorities.

A statement carried by Interfax news agency said that, with the new cases and fatalities, Russia’s caseload now stands at 18,319,848, with the death tally rising to 378,870.

Meanwhile, the country added 5,844 new recoveries, taking the total to 17,725,440.
