Passengers are cautioned that the train service disruptions that forced thousands of mourners to miss the Queen’s burial will continue until Tuesday at noon.

Network Rail stated that repairs to broken overhead wires impacting Paddington, west London, are proceeding.

Monday morning at 6.30 a.m., all lines to and from Paddington were shut due to an incident between Hayes and Harlington station, causing considerable delays for mourners traveling to London and Windsor, Berkshire.

While stranded on trains and platforms, several resorted to viewing funeral services on their mobile devices.

Numerous passengers were instructed to switch trains at Reading, resulting in lengthy lines at the station on Monday evening.

National Rail Enquiries published an update on Tuesday morning stating, “No trains are able to operate between Heathrow Airport/West Drayton and London Paddington.”

‘We believe interruption will persist until 12pm.

“Passengers are strongly urged to only travel if absolutely required and to please check before departure.”

Great Western Railway, Heathrow Express, and Elizabeth line services are disrupted.
