Following her death, Queen Elizabeth II left behind family, friends, and a legion of royal admirers. Sadly, she also left behind her two darling corgis dogs and a pony named Emma.
The 97-year-old royal was fond of her animals, particularly her dogs of Welsh descent.
The furry friends were a part of Monday’s funeral procession which took place outside Windsor Castle.
QUEEN ELIZABETH’S CORGIS SAY THEIR GOODBYES
Whilst Queen Elizabeth’s staff at Buckingham Palace lined the street outside to bid farewell to the royal on Monday, so did her beloved pets.
Muick and Sandy, two Pembroke Welsh corgis, were seen outside Windsor Castle as a procession marched past.
In clips that went viral on social media, the dogs – accompanied by their handlers -seemingly sensed their master’s absence as they buried their faces in their paws and gave the cameras sad “puppy dog eyes”.
Following the Queen’s death, the palace confirmed that her son Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York aka Fergie, would take ownership of the dogs.
Despite their divorce in 1996, Sarah still lives with Andrew at their home in Windsor, Royal Lodge. The former couple gifted the Queen the corgis following Prince Andrew’s death in 2021.

And grandson Prince William revealed over the weekend that the corgis were in good hands. In fact, he added that they were “spoilt rotten”.
Speaking to a group of royal fans waiting outside Westminster Palace to view the Queen’s coffin as it lay in state, People reports that the heir to the throne said: “I saw them the other day, that got me quite sad.
Reassuring a concerned woman, he added: “ They are two very friendly corgis, so they’ve got a good home. They’ll be looked after very well. Spoiled rotten, I’m sure.”
According to reports, the Queen owned more than 30 corgis and dorgis (corgi’s bred with Daschund). The royal was given her first dog at the age of 17. The animals were pampered with their own private room, personal chef, and individual Christmas stockings each year.

The black Fell pony stood on the grounds of Windsor Castle to watch Queen Elizabeth’s procession as her coffin was transported via procession to St. George’s Chapel.
Eagled-eyed tweeps also noticed that the pony was draped with a scarf once worn by the royal herself.
