Ray J maintains that Kris Jenner was behind the 2007 leak of his and her daughter Kim Kardashian’s sex tape.
Saturday, the 41-year-old singer published a series of Instagram postings in which he threatened to sue both reality TV stars for defamation, as well as a video in which he warned, “You f****** with the wrong person.”
Ray J, born William Ray Norwood Jr., unleashed his rants after Jenner, 66, took a lie detector test on Thursday’s episode of “The Late Late Show With James Corden” and denied she assisted Kim with the publication of the sex tape.
In one of his lengthy Instagram rants, he yelled, “YOU slept with THE WRONG BLACK MAN, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian.
“I COULD NOT CARE LESS HOW OLD THIS CRAP IS!! What you are attempting to do to me is nearly inhumane and vile on the highest level — F*** THIS BEING JUST RACIST — THIS IS WRONG TO DO TO ANYONE — YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST F*CK OVER PEOPLE AND GET AWAY WITH IT FOREVER!!! ”
He also railed against the administrator of Jenner’s lie detector exam, John Grogan: “John Grogan is a fraud. He does not conduct polygraph tests. He is appropriately regarded as the polygraph parasite…THIS IS THE PERSON WHOM KRIS JENNER USED TO MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A LIAR. Even more regrettable is that the network allowed it to occur! ” (sic)
Ray J also claimed that Jenner and Kardashian “stole all that money” from his sister Brandy and their mother Sonja Norwood, an apparent allusion to a 2008 lawsuit brought by Sonja, 71, against Kim Kardashian and her siblings Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian.
In her court complaint, Norwood said that the Kardashian family unlawfully charged more than $120 000 (about R2 million) to an American Express card belonging to the Norwoods; the suit was settled out of court in 2009.
Later, ‘One Wish’ singer Ray J uploaded a 44-minute video in which he claimed to reveal “receipts” showing Kardashian and her mother were involved in the distribution of the tape.
In addition, he said there were three rather than one sex tape.
It follows Ray J’s admission in a Daily Mail interview in May that Kardashian “jumped on the idea” of a leak when he suggested it.
“I felt suicide (when the audio was made public) because when you know something is real and true and you’re watching a whole family build an empire on the back of a falsehood they’ve constructed, you feel suicidal. It is upsetting and demeaning to all entertainers who have been truthful and genuine to their art.
“I’ve been walking on eggshells for the past 14 years out of fear that I’ll get in trouble for expressing the truth, and I’ve been watching them humiliate me. They are rejoicing over my demise.”
Jenner and Kardashian have yet to comment publicly on Ray J’s remarks.
