A Royal Arrival in the King’s Coronation Year

Ernest’s arrival coincides with the year of the King’s coronation, which took place just weeks ago.

He is the first of Queen Elizabeth II’s great-grandchildren to be born since her passing in September of the previous year.

As a member of the royal family, Ernest, with the title Master Brooksbank, now holds the 13th position in the line of succession, nudging the Duke of Edinburgh down to the 14th place.

A Memorable Coronation Experience

Prior to giving birth, a heavily pregnant Eugenie, daughter of the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, joined the royal family at Westminster Abbey to witness her uncle Charles’s coronation at the beginning of May.

During the ceremony, Mr. Brooksbank sat alongside the Duke of Sussex in the third row, accompanying his expectant wife.
