Pool technician finds baby freshwater crocodile inside backyard swimming pool

When a pool technician found a tiny freshwater crocodile inside a pool cleaner, it gave him the scare of his life.

An employee of Calipso Pools discovered the reptile last week while responding to a call at a residence in Rosebery, a town south of Palmerston, in the Northern Territory.

Josh was astonished to see the little crocodile hiding inside a pool skimmer while he was emptying the lid.

The crocodile was later relocated.

According to Calipso Pools, the discovery serves as a warning to locals in particular regions of Australia to exercise caution when maintaining their swimming pools.

Always inspect before reaching in to retrieve the basket because you never know what you’ll discover, according to a pro tip.

‘So it turns out not even the swimming pools are safe in Darwin,’ wrote one.

‘This was always my biggest fear when we lived in Darwin,’ commented another.

A third added: ‘I thought it was bad to find huntsman spiders in there, but this beats that hands down.’

Added another: ‘Hate opening the skimmer box at any time – spiders, frogs, mice, all kinds of unknown things gather in there!’
