Paris Hilton, a media celebrity and hotel heiress, announced on Tuesday that she and her husband Carter Reum had had their first child.
Hilton published an Instagram photo of what looked to be her newborn child grabbing her thumb.
With a blue heart emoji, Hilton said, “You are already loved beyond all words.”
According to US entertainment media, the baby boy was conceived via surrogacy.
The 41-year-old former reality TV personality disclosed in an interview last month that she and her husband, an investor whom she wed in 2021, would have an IVF procedure during the pandemic.
She told People Magazine that “because the world was shut down” at the onset of the Covid-19 outbreak, it was “the ideal time” to “stock up on eggs.”
Hilton stated that her family’s “hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy” in a statement published by People on Tuesday.
