Osinbajo and Wife Depart Abuja after Handing Over Vice Presidency

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and his wife, Dolapo, have left Abuja following the transition of power to a new Vice President on Monday.

Senator Kashim Shettima was sworn in at the Eagles Square in Abuja earlier in the day.

As they bid farewell, Osinbajo and his wife were seen off by several high-ranking government officials before boarding a Nigeria Air Force (NAF) plane.

Osinbajo Updates Twitter Profile after Verification Tag Removal

In a separate development, the former vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, made changes to his Twitter profile photo after the platform removed his verification tag on Monday, May 29, 2023.

Osinbajo shared a photo from the rear, depicting himself and his wife, Dolapo, leaving the Aso Rock following the inauguration of Bola Tinubu as President and Kashim Shettima as Vice President.

Verification Tag Removed from Osinbajo’s Twitter Account

Shortly after Osinbajo updated his Twitter profile, it was noticed that his verification tag had been promptly removed.

However, the Twitter account of former President Muhammadu Buhari remained verified.
