FIC Report (Abia State) – On the occasion of his birthday, the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, conveyed a heartfelt message of congratulations to the Senator representing Abia Central in the Senate and immediate past Governor of Abia State, Distinguished Senator Theodore Ahamefule Orji (OCHENDO GLOBAL).
Governor Ikpeazu praises Senator Orji as an eminent Nigerian statesman and political leader whose record of service during his time in the Civil Service remains replete with examples of dedication and exemplary service.
As a serving Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a former Governor of Abia State, Ochendo continues to intervene in key matters that impact our country and state. The governor expresses thankfulness to God for Ochendo’s strength, health, and alertness.
Governor Ikpeazu specifically mentions that this birthday will be Senator Ochendo’s last in active political service, adding that the Senator has willingly chosen to retire from politics at the end of his current term in the Senate.
The Governor observes that Ochendo’s place in the Hall of Fame for exceptional political leaders has been established.
