Offset performs with Cardi B at Art Basel after Takeoff’s death

During his performance at Miami megaclub E11even’s Art Week bash on Friday, Offset paid homage to his late cousin and fellow Migos member Takeoff.

According to a source who spoke to Page Six, the rapper arrived at 4 a.m. with his wife Cardi B at his side.

Before starting his performance, he addressed the audience, “We’re doing this for my brother. “Let’s do this s—t for takeoff.”

The 30-year-old rapper Offset’s concert was his first after the untimely passing of Takeoff.

The insider said that Offset and Cardi B “were dancing, drinking, and having a fantastic time.”

On November 11, Offset joined Cardi B, Justin Bieber, Drake, Gucci Mane, CeeLo Green, City Girls, Russell Simons, and Lil Yachty for Takeoff’s “Celebration of Life” celebration in Atlanta.

Cardi, 30, expressed how tough losing their close buddy has been for both her and Offset.

This week, she said on “The Neighborhood Speak,” “We’re living our lives normally, but deep down, our hearts have been so heavy. I feel like if I talk about – the internet’s so desensitized – how we actually feel, what motherf-kers truly been going through, y’all would start saying, “Oh compassion.”

She went on, Cardi said, “We don’t want any compassion. We are not a charity case, but to be told, I have been feeling so helpless in my attempts to cheer up my husband.

Cardi also posted a number of photographs on Instagram to honor Takeoff as she gets ready to play at Miami’s Story nightclub on Saturday.

She and Offset, who wed in 2017, have two children together: Kulture, age 4, and Wave, age 1.
