Nigeria’s old series of N200, N500 and N1,000 to stop being legal tender by January 31

The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has anounced that the old series of N200, N500 and N1,000 notes remain legal tender until January 31, 2023.

All old notes are to be taken to local banks for exchange to the new versions, else their values will be lost by January ending.
