Nick Cannon welcomes his ninth child, weeks after revealing another pregnancy

Nick Cannon has announced the birth of his ninth child, which is his first with model Lanisha Cole.

In the past, Cannon has announced his child prior to the birth of his children. However, he did not inform Cole about his ninth child, Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, until after she had given birth.

Cannon announced the engagement on Instagram by posting a photo of himself, Onyx, and Cole with his song “I Do” playing in the background.

“Presenting ONYX ICE COLE CANNON… Today I am again in awe of the Divine Feminine! God has bestowed upon me and @MissLanishaCole the honor of hosting an Angel on earth “Cannon provided the caption. “I pledge to provide for, guide, and love this child to the best of my ability.”

He added the following caption: “As everyone knows, I am not easily provoked, have a thick skin, and have always been an open book, but not everyone in my family shares these characteristics. Therefore, I pray and request that all criticism and cynicism be directed at ME and not the adoring and priceless Mothers of my children.”

Cannon concluded the caption by requesting prayers for himself and his family.

Cole also posted videos of her baby shower and Cannon holding his newborn daughter on her Instagram account.

“The happiness I experience as a mother has expanded my heart in a profoundly new way. She is surrounded by so much affection, and I am already infatuated with her! “In an Instagram Story, the model expressed the following:

The majority of Cannon’s nine children with six women were born within the past two years.

He has twins, Moroccan and Monroe, who are 11 years old, with Mariah Carey; a five-year-old son, Golden, and a one-year-old daughter, Powerful Queen, with Brittany Bell; one-year-old twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, with Abby De La Rosa; and a six-week-old son, Legendary Love, with Bre Tiesi.

Zen, Cannon’s son with Alyssa Scott, died of brain cancer at the age of five months in 2021.

Cannon announced last month that he and Bell are expecting their second child via a video of the couple posing for a photoshoot.

Nick Cannon has contemplated becoming celibate or undergoing a vasectomy to stop having more children over the past year.

In June, however, Cannon disclosed on the podcast “Lip Service” that he had violated the vow of chastity he took last year after Zen’s death. He stated that he was expecting additional children, but did not specify how many.

He stated, “I didn’t even make it to January.” “I was expected to finish the year in first place. Then I began sorting through my belongings. I became depressed after the death of my kid. So, in December, everyone could see how depressed I was. So everyone thought, “Let’s just give him a tiny vagina, and that will fix everything.””

Cannon continued: “I fell victim to it due to my weakened state. In December, particularly around before Christmas, I began to engage in wild sexual activity.”
