Netflix actress, Melinna Bobadilla, has claimed she was kicked off a Southwest flight after trying to defend a fellow female passenger who was being ‘slut shamed’ by a ‘misogynistic’ attendant

Apparently, a woman who was trying to defend another female passenger who was being’slut shamed’ by a’misogynistic’ attendant was expelled from a Southwest aircraft.

In a now-viral Twitter thread, actress Melinna Bobadilla, best known for her recurring role on Netflix’s “Gentefied,” detailed her account of how the airline reportedly “disrespected two women of color, endangered one by needlessly contacting the authorities” in order to “defend a reactionary white male.”

At Sacramento International Airport in California, where the incident involving Los Angeles-based singer Maybe Jacy was urged to be covered up, the Mexican-American actress had boarded the Southwest flight.

Hey guys, I just got kicked off a flight with @SouthwestAir because I stood up for a young woman who was being humiliated and harassed by a staff member for donning a tank top that was thought to be too exposing.

When asked about what rules Jacy was breaching, the employee became “defensive,” according to the woman, saying, “She is wearing a corset and this is a family business.” It offends some people, unfortunately.

Actress Melinna then informed the attendant that the man right behind her was wearing a “Let’s Go Brandon” t-shirt and that she felt “threatened” and “offended,” but claims the worker seemed unconcerned.

She wrote, “Basically @SouthwestAir exhibited a double standard when enforcing an alleged offensive attire code, removed me for challenging their patriarchal policy, forced a young woman of color to wear a corporate given sweater, and slut shamed her for wearing a tank top they found offensive.

The raggedy employees at Southwest Airlines in Sacramento mistreated two women of color, put one in danger by phoning the police without cause, and went over and beyond to defend a conservative white male.

Yes, that fits. Southwest Airlines is stale, steaming garbage. Stop operating already.

It is believed that she was escorted off the plane by the police after they were contacted.

The official Twitter account for Southwest Airlines responded to Ms. Bobadilla’s assertions.

‘Thanks for getting in touch, Melinna. We’re sorry to hear you weren’t able to make it to your destination on time.’ was the reply they gave.

I don’t have faith that this can be resolved via DMs Brenna, unless you are authorized to issue an official apology, reimburse me for all costs incurred related to booking new travel, and issue a check for damages and emotional distress, the LA-based actress retaliated, demanding a refund and compensation.

Perhaps Jacy’s own TikTok video, which has received over 300,000 views, in which she displayed the top that caused Ms Bobadilla to be kicked from the flight, was posted by her.

Give me my money back stinky h**s @Southwest Airlines or send me a bottle of pricey champagne, she wrote in the description of one of her videos.

She scribbled, “Bro,” over the video. I was subject to a clothing code on a South West flight? Do we attend high school?

Are you angry with my shoulders? Is that 102 degrees outside?

And it made a scene because a kind lady defended me before kicking me off the plane.

“Catch me outside bich,” I said to whoever Grandma had complained about.

Additionally, she opens a subsequent video recounting the situation by saying: “Today has been a circus, and f*** you Southwest.”

“I was literally about to cry,” the speaker said. Literally simply being called a slut in front of everyone was so uncomfortable.

If it weren’t for this lady, my angel, I would love her, she stated as she pasted a screenshot of Ms. Bobadilla’s Twitter thread.

Thousands of outraged comments about the event have been made by members of the public.

One person wrote on Twitter: “She literally wasn’t even showing cleavage.”

Her arms were the only body parts that were visible. Most likely a Karen simply Karening, that flight attendant.

Another said she will completely avoid the airline: “This is dishonorable! Never again will I board @SouthwestAir.

It’s incredible that you believe you can treat women in this manner.

There is no rule prohibiting a woman from wearing a corset on an airplane, so Southwest Airlines’ staff on this trip need their money back and apologize immediately, according to one who looked up the rules for airline dress codes.

An other person commented, “So @SouthwestAir slut shamed a woman for wearing a tank top and then called the police on another woman who stood up for her.”

At the same time, he was cool with the guy sporting the Let’s Go, Brandon shirt. You have been very vocal about your principles, #Southwest.
