There are so many weird things happening in African marriages.
From cheating to misunderstandings to mismanagement and manhandling, African homes now face an uphill task to actually serve it purpose as a union between lovers (man and woman).
In the latest development, a couple has taken their problem to a popular radio program as they sought for a solution to their marital problems.
The married couple have their names as Afia Boadiwaa and Peter as they washed their dirty linens on-air.
The wife in the course of revealing her problem to the radio presenter who was interviewing them said she has been running on a shift with her husband on his boxers and other attires due to hardships.
According to her, she receives Gh¢5 daily for upkeep which is not enough and her provision shop is not bringing in enough profits to support her when it comes to purchasing some personal items.
On how they share the boxers, she explained that they have only two hence what she does is when Peter dons one for a day, she then wears it the next day unwashed in other for the man to have the clean one the next day.
The said procedure has gone on for 6 months now between them. Luckily for them, none has been affected in anyway in terms of health issues.
Afia Boadiwaa made the disclosure when her husband accused her of cheating on him to the extent that her alleged lover has given her a promised ring after performing the right of marriage with her parents.
To the guy, he does not understand why she will go ahead to cheat on him and even marry another guy when he himself has married her in the right way through her family as tradition demands.
Peter on how he got to know that she was cheating explained that he found some land documents which belonged to him in her possession which she has changed to her alleged German lovers name without his (Peter) consent.
Afia Boadiwaa did not deny her cheating claims made by Peter but said she was fed up with hardship which is why despite been married, she had to give in to her Ghanaian based German Borga in other for her to survive with her children.
Peter laid the blame on his wife for not getting a good job to do from the start because his wife promised him that she will buy him a car which she failed to fulfill the promise as they had to spend the money on hospital bills.

Now who is to be blamed, is it the wife who failed to fulfill her promise and cheated on her husband or the husband who solely had to rely on his wife’s promise and not look for a better job to do?
