The “Rings of Power” actress Morfydd Clark believes she resembles a hobbit.
In the Lord of the Rings prequel series, the Welsh actress portrays Galadriel, an elf.
Clark told The Independent on Friday that the woman has a “somewhat unsettling look.”

Morfydd Clark, star of “The Rings of Power,” believed she would be cast as a hobbit rather than an elf in the new Amazon Prime series.
Galadriel, portrayed by Clark in the prequel series, is one of the few characters from the film trilogy to appear in “The Rings of Power.” Galadriel was portrayed by Cate Blanchett in the original films.
In an interview with Nick Hilton of The Independent published on Friday, the Welsh actress stated that her face resembles the hairy-footed mythical monster more than the wise and graceful elf.
Clark stated, “I imagined I’d be a hobbit rather than an elf.” “I believe I have a rather unsettling appearance.”
Nonetheless, the actress acknowledged that her appearance has elven characteristics, saying, “I can look extremely extreme and a bit nasty. Which I suppose is somewhat slightly elfin!”

Amazon reported in a press statement on Saturday that the first two episodes of “The Rings of Power,” which premiered on Thursday, attracted more than 25 million viewers. The company said that it was Prime Video’s biggest debut ever.
Clark told The Independent that she “still can’t believe she’ll be famous” and finds it odd to consider. She stated that she grew up in the fantasy environment created by J.R.R. Tolkien and watched “The Lord of the Rings” films with her parents.
“My parents enjoyed the novels immensely. My father had read me “The Hobbit”… I was watching it with the want to be in Middle-earth “Regarding the imaginary environment, she said.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Amazon paid $715 million on the rights and production of the series’ first season. The Associated Press reported earlier this month that hundreds of workers in the United Kingdom staged a demonstration in response to salary problems with the corporation.
When asked how she felt about the studio’s spending in the midst of employee walkouts, Clark responded that she believes it’s vital to listen to their concerns.
“I believe we should listen to workers and that people are currently exhibiting great courage. As people, you must continually reevaluate and consider the implications of your actions, she told The Independent, adding, “I believe it’s especially important for performers to remember they’re a part of something greater while they’re in this glamorous environment.”
