MLB.com reports that the Mets and Japanese right-handed pitcher Kodai Senga agreed to a five-year, $75 million contract late Saturday night.

Senga, who will turn 30 on January 30, spent all 11 of his Nippon Professional Baseball seasons with the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks.
