Meghan Markle attended Elizabeth II’s funeral with Prince Harry

Standing close to Kate, George, and Charlotte, a sombre Meghan Markle observed as Elizabeth II’s coffin was put on an altar before moving to sit in the second row next to Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex, 41, entered the revered chapel in a solemn procession that was led by the Queen’s casket. The Duchess of Wessex, Prince Edward, and the two oldest Cambridge children stood in front of Kate.

Before taking a seat for the funeral beside Prince Harry, Meghan stood with the three Cambridges inside the cathedral for a while.

Because he was no longer a senior royal, the Duke of Sussex chose to wear a civilian suit rather than his uniform as he walked behind the Queen’s coffin, putting aside their ongoing conflict.

In the second row, behind Princess Anne, King Charles III, and the Queen Consort, are Harry and Meghan. Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are standing next to them.

The Duchess honoured the Queen by donning a pair of pearl and diamond earrings that were a gift from the queen. She wore the identical pair earlier this week for the funeral procession to Westminster Hall.

Since the Queen’s passing on September 8, Harry and Meghan, who resides in Montecito, California, have stayed in the UK. When the news was out, they just so happened to be in the nation for the WellChild awards.

Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 15 months, who are said to have stayed in California with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, were absent from the couple’s lives.
