Man stabbed in broad daylight near Oxford Street

To the horror of passing shoppers, a man was fatally stabbed at a Korean eatery on a side street off Oxford Street in the heart of London’s West End today.

A guy with knife wounds was discovered soon before noon at the Arirang Restaurant on Poland Street in Soho by armed police and emergency personnel.

Both London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance responded, but 40 minutes later the man was pronounced dead at the spot.

A guy in his fifties was detained on suspicion of murder outside the eatery.

The event allegedly included employees of the restaurant, which debuted in 1975 and claims to be the first of its kind in the United Kingdom.

A worker at a neighboring store said that fighting had erupted inside.

Another observer said, “I noticed two males fighting outside the Korean restaurant.” They were really yelling at one another. The Metropolitan Officers Department said, “At 11:40 a.m. on Monday, August 15, police were notified of a stabbing on Poland Street, W1.”

“Officers responded with the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance.” A male with stab wounds was discovered.

He was declared dead at the site at 12:20 despite the best efforts of the rescue personnel.

His identification remains unverified.

A guy has been taken into custody in relation to the incident. A representative for the London Ambulance Service said, “We were notified at 11:36 a.m. today of a stabbing on Poland Street in downtown London.”

We sent an ambulance team, a fast-response ambulance, and an incident response officer to the location.

Additionally, we sent the London Air Ambulance. Our first paramedic came less than seven minutes after our call.

Despite our teams’ best efforts, the patient tragically passed away at the site. This is the fourth murder in London in the last three days.

A 25-year-old man was shot and killed on Saturday in Walthamstow, east London, when ‘all hell broke loose’ outside of a baby’s first birthday celebration.

Terry, a neighbor who only provided their first name, saw an altercation in the street before to the shooting.

“I was in my apartment when I noticed a person wearing a hoodie go through the gate between the tree and the fence – I feel concerned when people do that, dashing up past my apartment window,” he said.

Anyway, the next thing I know, I hear crack crack crack, and I assume someone is playing a practical joke by setting off firecrackers. In the preceding twenty minutes, there had been a dispute on the street.

“I heard yelling and foul language, but I have no idea what was going on. Then I heard gunshots that did not sound like gunshots to me, and chaos ensued.’ A guy in his 30s was discovered dead at his house in Lewisham, south-east London, on Saturday morning.

A 53-year-old guy afterwards surrendered to a police station and was detained for murder.

And yesterday, a 60-year-old man was slain in Dagenham during an early-morning altercation.

Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn said, “At this time, we suspect that a group of guys and the victim, who was with a companion, were involved in an incident.” This eventually became physical, resulting in tragically fatal injuries to the victim.’

Three males were detained.
