During Sunday’s game against the Rams, Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith and rookie running back Kenneth Walker III did not appear to be getting along on the sidelines.

While leading Los Angeles in the first half, Fox cameras saw the duo engaged in a heated discussion across the bench as they pointed fingers at one another. While analyzing a play with one of the assistant coaches, Walker seemed upset with Smith. In the meanwhile, another coach and running back DeeJay Dallas are seen separating Walker from Smith.

Before Walker departed the game with an ankle injury, a tense discussion ensued. It is unclear what precipitated it. Prior to his injury, the promising youngster ran for 36 yards on three attempts.

Taylor Rapp, a safety for the Rams, intercepted a blitz attempt by Walker earlier in the game.

Smith passed for 367 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winning 8-yard touchdown throw to DK Metcalf with 36 seconds remaining for a 27-23 comeback victory over the Rams. Against the Rams, the quarterback completed 71.8 percent of his throws with one interception.

“He was fantastic in the last moments. According to the Seattle Times, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll remarked, “I wish you guys could see how composed he is, how clear he is to communicate with, and how calm he is in the big situations; he’s just on it.” It is a magnificent declaration of who he is and what he stands for.
