Sadiya Haruna, an ex-Kannywood actress, was sentenced to six months in prison without the possibility of a fine by a magistrate’s court sitting at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.
Sadiya was charged with defaming her ex-boyfriend and singer in the film industry, Isa A. Isa, in court.
The actress was shown in a viral video calling Isa a “gay, bastard, and unrepentant womaniser.”
According to the Daily Trust, she said that the star sought anal intercourse from her.
In August 2021, Sadiya was charged for sharing sexual content on her social media handles and was found guilty of obscenity and indecent actions by a Sharia court in Kano state.
