The creator of the Kaizer Chiefs enterprise, Kaizer Motaung, can no longer watch helplessly as the team descends into despair.
Chiefs had the status of South African football’s aristocrats for many years, but because the team hasn’t won a trophy in seven years, their prominence has diminished to insignificance.
Amakhosi are currently in 14th position in the Premiership rankings, just above the relegation zone.
The Chiefs leadership, which includes Bobby Motaung, the club manager, and Kaizer Motaung Jr., the sports director, gave Arthur Zwane the coaching role.

Instead, since the occupants are the sons of Kaizer Motaung, such important posts were given to them by sheer nepotism.

Hunt did not talk much, but when he did, it was often a lot.
He said that there were players that were not talented enough to be at Chiefs and unable to comprehend how their recruitment came about.
He admitted that he did not know why certain players were at the club.
Unfortunately, the club was suspended by Fifa during Hunt’s time there and was unable to make any additions.
However, a number of players from the reserve team roster were promoted to the senior levels.
Baxter described some of the issues he had at Chiefs less than a month ago.
It amounted to Motaung Jr., who performs the same function as Flemming Berg at Mamelodi Sundowns, dictating what needed to be done.
It is difficult to understand how a rookie like Motaung Jr. could be given daily responsibilities like recruiting that affect the team’s success.
Bobby Motaung, on the other hand, has no football accomplishments beyond the fact that he is Kaizer Motaung’s son.
Nevertheless, he feels qualified in his role as manager to make crucial hiring decisions and carry out tasks that directly affect the team’s success.
Although it has never been stated, Bobby Motaung and Kaizer Motaung Jr. would have had the most influence on Zwane’s selection. Zwane has benefited from a number of outstanding additions throughout the offseason.
Zwane’s performance with the club’s reserve squad was a major factor in his promotion through the professional levels to the position of first team coach.
Coaches that specialise at the young level work for several well-known teams across the globe, although they may not always advance to the first team.
One of the justifications provided for Zwane’s hiring was that he is familiar with the club’s culture, which was formerly characterised by trophy victories but is no longer evident given that the team hasn’t had one in a while.
In light of this, not only Zwane should be feeling the heat, but the Motaung siblings also need to be getting little rest.
It’s time for Kaizer Motaung to show courage and save the club from more humiliation after he transformed the brand into a multi-million run institution.
