‘Kaizer Chiefs’ second Sithebe offer a big lie’ says AmaZulu boss

Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu‘s business relationship seems to be dead in the water now. The public war over Siyathemba Sithebe‘s move to Naturena seems to have ended with a big claim – with Soccer Laduma catching bullets.
As The South African reported over the past seven days, Amakhosi and Usuthi exchanged blows over the media. Reports said the Glamour Boys offered two players plus a fee as part of an offer to sign Sithebe. One of the Durban clubs’ bosses, came out to the media to spit somewhat needless fire.
Sandile Zungu, the chairman, claimed that Kaizer Chiefs offered poor quality players and AmaZulu is no dumping site for rejects.
To say the deal and the relationship with Amakhosi were in jeopardy is an understatement. The two clubs seemingly became instant enemies the moment Zungu said those words to the media.
Newer reports later claimed that Kaizer Chiefs responded to Zungu’s rejection by tabling a new improved offer before the January transfer window closed on Monday.
However, nobody really expected what was going to unfold next. Sandile’s brother and management partner, Manzini Zungu, came across a report on Soccer Laduma’s Twitter.
The tweet said “Kaizer Chiefs have put another offer on the table for Siyethemba Sithebe!” before Manzini responded to say:
“Another Big Lie!!! There’s No New Offer To us AmaZuluFootball on Sithebe…the level of disrespect on this issue though hayi angeke.”
