Jeremy Corbyn has been photographed playing a video game in which the objective is to murder Margaret Thatcher.
At a hard-Left fringe event of the Labour Party Conference, the former Labour leader posed for photographs while playing Thatcher Techbase, an upgraded version of the famous 1990s video game Doom.
Mr. Corbyn, 73, has made multiple appearances at Liverpool events despite being an independent MP since 2020.
In photographs that went viral on Twitter, he participated in The World Transformed.
In Thatcher Techbase, the player descends into “hell’s tenth circle” to confront the late prime minister and head of the Conservative Party.
It describes the late peer, who died in 2013 at the age of 87, as “one of humanity’s biggest risks.”

Today, at the annual party conference in Liverpool, his supporters attempted to amend the selection procedures so that local constituency parties (CLPs) would have the last word on election candidates, abolishing the central party’s veto authority.
It would have let the CLP in his ultra-safe Islington North constituency to select him, compelling the Parliamentary party to reinstate the whip if he won.
However, the idea was defeated by a margin of 41% to 59%. This indicates that he will very certainly run as an independent against the party in the upcoming 2024 election.
Peter Talbot of Islington North CLP stated before to the voting, ‘We need a variety of Labour candidates. We must demonstrate that the Labour Party is a really inclusive organization. And this is especially significant considering the tens of thousands of young people Jeremy has recruited to the Labor Party.
He said, “If we don’t modify the rules and Jeremy can’t run for Labour in the upcoming election, that would be a tragedy for us; it would not end well.”

Mr. Corbyn remains a party member and has participated in several left-leaning fringe events at the party conference.
