Jamie Lee Curtis claims that her desire to meet Princess Diana has been flushed down the toilet.

In a new episode of Apple’s “Time to Walk,” the actress claims she was in the restroom urinating when the princess visited the set of her 1995 film “Fierce Creatures” in London.

“That day, we were informed that Princess Diana and her children [William and Harry] would be visiting,” the 64-year-old “Freaky Friday” performer recounted. “We filmed all morning, and when we took a tea break, I went to the bathroom. I hopped into a golf cart and drove two kilometers back to the locker room.

Curtis said, “I was urinating in my dressing room when the doorbell rang, announcing that Princess Diana had arrived.”

Unfortunately, by the time the actress emerged for the meet-and-greet, Diana and her sons had already left the set, and it would have been impolite to yell or chase after them.

Curtis is pictured on set with her “Fierce Creatures” co-stars Michael Palin, John Cleese, and Kevin Kline in 1995.

Despite never having met Diana in person, the “Halloween” star drafted a letter and delivered it to Kensington Palace.

“It stated, ‘I’m very sorry we didn’t get to meet. I was eagerly anticipating it, since I highly admire you. “Unfortunately, nature called, and I don’t get many breaks, so I chose nature over you, not knowing that you were about to arrive,” Curtis wrote. “I’m very sorry and think you’re fantastic. My warmest wishes, Jamie.’”

The following day, the celebrity was shocked to get a reply from the Princess of Wales.

In 1995, Princess Diana visited the “Fierce Creatures” set in London, but Jamie Lee Curtis was in the restroom.

“I received a letter from Her Royal Highness Princess Diana from Kensington Palace,” the actress said. “ “I’m very sorry I didn’t get to meet you as well. I have the utmost respect for you, and I completely understand when nature calls — of course you should select that option. I hope that we will get the chance to meet in our lifetimes. Best wishes forever.’”

Curtis characterized the letter as “beautiful” and said that she still possesses it.

Two years after her visit to the set of “Fierce Creatures,” Diana was murdered in a vehicle accident, and Curtis never met the princess.

When she reads the prologue of the book “The Path to Insight Meditation,” which writes, “When people have attempted to live mindfully, at the moment of their death they ask themselves two questions: Did I learn to live wisely? How well did I love?”

Curtis states that whenever she reads the preface of the book “The Path to Insight Meditation,” she always thinks of the late monarch.

Curtis asserts that despite her early death at the age of 36, Diana lived a full and meaningful life.

“I understood that, if this book was accurate, Diana’s life was complete, whether or not it had been cut tragically short. “On that tragic day, these questions became my daily concerns,” the celebrity stated. “I never go to sleep without asking myself these questions.”

She stated that she considers these significant issues every single day. This has become the foundation of my life.
