Is there a plot to assassinate Adv Teffo? Why does Senzo’s brother think so?

Is there a plot to assassinate Adv Teffo? Why does Senzo’s brother think so?

Sifiso Meyiwa, Senzo’s older brother, believes the police are trying to scare people away from the murder case of the former Bafana Bafana captain, and that there was a plot to arrest Advocate Malesela Teffo in the courtroom on Thursday, April 28.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SENZO MEYIWA’S DEATH AND TRIAL

Senzo Meyiwa was alleged to have been killed in an armed robbery at the home of his then-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo, who was at the height of his fame at the time. Kelly was present when Senzo was killed, along with her mother Ntombi, sister Zandie, Zandie’s then-boyfriend Longwe Twala, Kelly’s two children, and Senzo’s two friends Mthokozisi Thwala and Tumelo Madlala.

Senzo and Kelly have an eight-year-old daughter named Thingo, and Senzo was previously married to Mandisa Mkhize. Since Senzo’s murder, Kelly has drawn a lot of attention, with many claiming she knows more than she’s letting on. Since the trial began in April, but was postponed to May 30, the singer has been constantly trending on Twitter. Kelly’s words about a cheating partner, which she made in an interview with MacG, have now gone viral.

After being accused of murdering Senzo, five hitmen – Muzikawukhulelwa S’Tembu Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Ziphozonke Maphisa, and Fisokuhle Ntuli – were arrested and charged. Senzo’s brother Sifiso, on the other hand, feels that these are just “fall guys” and that the truth about his brother’s death is being kept secret.

On Thursday, April 28th, Mzansi was stunned when Advocate Malesela Teffo, who represents four of the five defendants, was arrested in the courtroom after the court had been recessed for the day. Teffo was arrested for allegedly failing to appear in court for another matter, but he said after his detention that he was being detained because “Cele does not want him to be in the case.”

Tshepo Thobane, Teffo’s instructing attorney, claims that Teffo’s arrest was part of a ruse to divert attention away from the case. He then questioned the timeliness of the arrest, pointing out that the warrant was issued on January 22, 2022. Teffo was later released on a R10,000 bail.’

SIFISO MEYIWA WEIGHS IN

Sifiso maintains that the five men accused of murdering his brother are not guilty. He went on to say that the cops are trying to terrify whoever is in charge of the case.

“I feel validated in my view that the five people on trial for my brother’s murder had nothing to do with it, and that is why the advocate was arrested.” According to the Sunday World, “Police will go to considerable measures to protect the genuine killer.”

“The dramatic manner in which Advocate Teffo was detained inside the courtroom bears witness to this. It’s all part of a cover-up by the cops. They aim to terrify whoever takes over the investigation. He said, “Advocate Teffo was asking tough questions and exposing the state’s inefficiencies.”
