‘All of a sudden, I heard a tremendous explosion and flames flew over my entire vehicle,’ Debra Jackson, who was filling up her car with petrol, told CBSLA. ‘I thought my automobile had caught fire.’

According to California Highway Patrol spokesperson Franco Pepi, ‘at least six or seven’ automobiles were involved, with three of them engulfed in flames.
