At 1.54 p.m., police were called to an incident in the Fartown neighborhood of Huddersfield.
A 46-year-old parent whose 14-year-old son attends the school told Yorkshire Live, “It was a frightening time when I heard there had been trouble and a teacher answered my son’s phone.” I believe he may have witnessed some of the events.
Staff requested that I come collect him. I’ve heard that everything appeared out of thin air. This student was seized, pinned to the ground, and repeatedly stabbed.’
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance had shut the roads surrounding the incident, and parents expressed grave anxiety.
Another father whose daughter attends the school stated that something ‘has to be done’ about the increase in criminality in the neighborhood, adding, ‘My daughter just began there and was boarding the bus home. A boy wearing a black helmet and a snood attacked a student with a knife before fleeing the scene.
She witnessed the altercation but did not see the knife or blood. The bus had just pulled up as it occurred, obscuring a portion of the incident; she appears to be fine, but I believe she is still processing it. It is only about her third week at her new school.
He stated that the neighborhood was beginning to resemble a criminal scenario.
A representative for the West Yorkshire We stated, “At 1.54 p.m. today, police received an allegation from a third party that a teen had been critically injured in an assault in Woodhouse Hill, Huddersfield.”
