Another father whose daughter attends the school stated that something ‘has to be done’ about the increase in criminality in the neighborhood, adding, ‘My daughter just began there and was boarding the bus home. A boy wearing a black helmet and a snood attacked a student with a knife before fleeing the scene.

She witnessed the altercation but did not see the knife or blood. The bus had just pulled up as it occurred, obscuring a portion of the incident; she appears to be fine, but I believe she is still processing it. It is only about her third week at her new school.

He stated that the neighborhood was beginning to resemble a criminal scenario.
