Hoda Kotb grateful that her daughter is home and good after her hospitalization

Hoda Kotb shared an update on her 3-year-old daughter Hope’s health on Monday’s episode of “Today with Hoda & Jenna.”
The broadcast journalist returned to the show following a two-week absence and told viewers that Hope is “home and good” after a “really scary” hospitalization.
Kotb expressed her gratitude for the doctors and nurses who stood by her daughter and shared a heartwarming story of how Hope gave her two confetti stars, one for herself and one for her mother.
Despite the recent difficulties, Kotb is grateful and rubs a “worn-down” necklace from a close friend as a reminder that “God’s got this.”

Kotb’s youngest child was in the ICU for a few days and hospitalized for more than a week, which she discussed on the show.

Her co-anchor Craig Melvin previously explained that she had been absent due to a “family health matter,” and Al Roker assured Page Six that Kotb would be “just fine.”

Jenna Bush Hager expressed her love and hopes for Kotb’s speedy return, while the NBC anchors continued to fill in for her. Throughout the ordeal, Kotb posted inspirational social media updates about “hope” during “dark times.”
