Hilaria Baldwin acted as a barrier for her husband Alec Baldwin on Monday morning, protecting him from a Post photographer as he climbed into an SUV with his three children.
As Alec made his way to the vehicle, a yoga instructor wearing dark sunglasses, a gray T-shirt with the word “ROMEO,” and black tights stood firmly in front of the couple’s Greenwich Village apartment.
Friday, she was criticized on social media for using her “fake” Spanish accent to distract reporters as she attempted to protect her spouse from the cameras.
In response to the news that Alec will be prosecuted with involuntary manslaughter for the 2021 shooting death of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, Hilaria promised to talk with the media.
Later, her spouse, a 64-year-old “30 Rock” star, was seen grinning as he entered the Film Center Building on Ninth Avenue.
On Monday, Hilaria Baldwin blocks a photographer as her husband Alec Baldwin and their children leave his building in Manhattan.
Last Monday, Santa Fe District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies said in a statement that the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, will also be charged with involuntary manslaughter, which carries a potential prison term of 18 months.
The accusation against Alec was described by Alec’s attorney as a “terrible miscarriage of justice.”
“Mr. Baldwin had no reason to suspect there was a live round in the rifle or anyplace else on the film set. He relied on the assurances of the professionals with whom he worked that the rifle lacked live ammunition,” Luke Nikas told Page Six.
“We will fight these accusations and prevail,” he continued.
