Health Minister pays tribute to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed

Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, paid tribute to the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who passed away yesterday after 18 years of leading the country to be among the most prosperous nations in the region.

“The UAE today lost a great man who led the UAE towards excellence, empowerment and leadership, a leader who followed in the footsteps of the country’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, dedicating his entire life to strengthen the UAE’s union and renaissance,” the minister said.

“Sheikh Khalifa has left a track record of achievements and national gains that will ensure a better future for generations to come and lead the UAE to a prominent position among the world’s most advanced nations,” he added.

Al Owais offered his sincere condolences to the UAE leaders, Sheikhs, people and the world on the death of Sheikh Khalifa.
