WASHINGTON, 20th May, 2022 (WAM) — More than 521.08 million people have been reported to be infected by the coronavirus globally, and 6,666,508 have died, according to a Reuters tally on Friday.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
