Four-day-missing Dandenong woman Lucinda Miller is being sought by Victoria Police

Searches for a young woman who inexplicably disappeared over the weekend are being conducted by police and volunteers in thick wilderness.

Last Sunday about 11 a.m., 24-year-old Lucinda Miller was last seen in the Melbourne neighborhood of Dandenong.

She requested a rideshare car, which dropped her off at Neerim South next to a wooded trail.

The young woman’s house is around 2.5 kilometers from the path.

Currently, 50 police officers—including a dog squad—and volunteers are scouring deep bushland for Ms. Miller.

Although Ms. Miller’s rideshare driver was questioned by police as well, there is no proof that they were anyway connected to her disappearance.

Ms. Miller was acquainted with the jungle route leading to her home, according to Victoria Police Inspector Peter Fusinato, who found it odd that she never returned.

It’s out of character that she didn’t return home, he added, adding that there are tracks running through it.

There was “no evidence,” he said, that a “second party” was connected to her disappearance.

Detectives have also knocked on doors at nearby residences and other buildings.

Police and Ms. Miller’s family are equally worried for her wellbeing, therefore officers have asked the public for assistance in finding her.

She is characterized as having blonde hair, a slim body, and being 165 cm tall (about 5’5″).

She wore a white blouse, pink jeans, a green jumper, a beanie, a scarf, and a face mask when she was last seen.

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, the Victoria State Emergency Service, and CFA are among of the organizations that have aided police in their search in the thick woodland (Country Fire Authority).

Calling the Warragul Police Station at 5622 7111 is strongly advised for anybody with information on Ms. Miller.
