Elizabeth Olsen of “WandaVision” has dispelled rumors that she may appear in “House of the Dragon.”
During her appearance at Variety’s Power of Women event last week, Olsen addressed rumors that her and Henry Cavill may appear in the second season of the acclaimed HBO series.
She told Entertainment Tonight that she would be thrilled to be cast in the program, but she was astonished by the allegations.
Olsen stated, “I don’t know how things, such as rumors, get started and then become believed to be true.” “Dream casting is enjoyable, but I heard it was announced, which is more stranger.”
Olsen subsequently stated that she had not discussed her participation in the program. She stated, “I’ve never heard of such a thing.”
Olsen has already tried out for the original “Game of Thrones” series.
She told Vulture in 2019 that she had auditioned for the role of Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke, but the audition went so poorly that she was not called back.
A share from Entertainment Tonight (@entertainmenttonight) on Twitter.
Olsen stated, “It was the most embarrassing audition I’ve ever had.” “They were uncertain as to whether a British accent was desired. So, you performed the action in both cases. It was dreadful. When someone says, “Bad audition story,” this is the one I recall.”
During an additional interview on “Olsen remarked on Live with Kelly and Ryan, “It was dreadful.” I simply believe that no one is going to like this event, as it is embarrassing for everyone involved.”
This audition occurred at the beginning of Olsen’s career, but since then she has been in numerous Marvel productions and become a rising celebrity.
Olsen told The New York Times earlier this year that she felt “frustrated” since she had to give up jobs to star in Marvel films.
The 33-year-old actor stated, “I lost the physical ability to do some tasks that I believed were more connected with the things I valued as an audience member, and this is me being the most honest.” “I had work security, but felt that I was losing bits of my identity. And the further I moved away from it, the less consideration I received for it.”
