Eddie Jones was designated the Wallaby messiah

Eddie Jones’s return as head coach of the Australia Men’s Rugby Union signifies the beginning of a new era for the Wallabies.

It is evident that Rugby Australia’s senior brass are banking on Jones to orchestrate a top-down reorganization of the sport.

Despite the fact that Australia is usually always competitive in matches against their greatest rivals, South Africa and New Zealand, they are now well outside the top four nations in the globe.

Rugby Australia chairman Hamish McLennan and Eddie Jones had phone conversations over the weekend, according to a report published on Sunday.

The Wallabies are accustomed to adversity, some of which is a result of the competitive character of the Australian local sports scene and others of which is a result of weak leadership and terrible policies, but recent seasons have seen them reach new and intolerable lows.

Rugby Australia believes Eddie Jones will be able to get the Wallabies in shape for the 2023 RWC in France, despite the fact that the Wallabies player pool is not as deep as that of other top nations.

“Eddie and I feel we can win this year’s World Cup. The chairman, Hamish McLennan, stated, “There’s a lot to do, but we believe we’ve got a fair chance.”

“I believe Eddie will lead a complete reset of the game,” he said, anticipating changes in players’ strength and fitness, coaching, and “ultimately the game plan.”

RA is unconcerned that Jones may have lost his way as England’s coach and believes his World Cup record speaks for itself.

McLennan continued, “I believe that in life, you often mature with age, and I believe that he is a better coach than he was 20 years ago.”

“His performance at World Cups is crucial for our success. In 27 years, we will host the World Cup,” he remarked.

“Eddie is very enthusiastic about the opportunity, and as you know, Eddie is a hard worker, so he will make it work,” McLennan said.
