Ed Begley Jr. reveals that his activism got in the way of his career

Ed Begley Jr. has revealed that his career was adversely impacted over the years by his environmental activism, which caused some to view him as an overzealous militant. Despite never criticizing people for their choices, the “St. Elsewhere” star claimed that he gave off the impression that he was judgmental and might reprimand them for their decisions. Begley Jr. recalled that he was warned by his agents to tone down his activism, and his work declined in the 1990s due to his green image. However, he was offered roles in movies like “Best in Show” that helped him revive his career. Begley Jr. is now a part of Christopher Guest’s group of actors and has appeared in popular TV shows like “Better Call Saul,” “Arrested Development,” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” He believes that everyone should do what they can to protect the environment, emphasizing that it is not an all-or-nothing scenario. The actor is set to release a memoir in October.
