Now, icon Dionne Warwick has weighed in on the discussion.
She claims that it never occurred and asks that everyone give “young man” Harry Styles a break.

In some parts of the internet, the only thing that matters this week is whether or not Harry Styles spat on Chris Pine during a screening of their new film “Don’t Worry, Darling” on Tuesday at the Venice Film Festival.

However, Pine’s representatives have rejected the claim.
A representative for Pine told People, “This is a preposterous narrative – a complete fiction and the consequence of an unusual web illusion that is clearly deceptive and allows for silly speculation.”
“Clarification: Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but mutual respect between these two men, and any insinuation to the contrary is a transparent attempt to create drama where none exists.”
And yet! Many fans were convinced that Styles spit on Pine’s lap, and the scandal continued.
During his show on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden, Styles quipped that he had “fast gone to Venice to spit on Chris Pine.”
Now, possibly the most influential voice has spoken in on the Most Significant Saliva Story of Our Time: legend and renowned vocalist and undisputed Twitter Queen Dionne Warwick. (Warwick acquired the title in 2021 after an art museum in Newark, New Jersey exhibited her tweets.)

Warwick, whose Twitter bio states “I am not writing a bio,” has been involved in minor feuds with Wendy Williams and Aretha Franklin, two heavy hitters of feuddom, so if Warwick swears there was no spittle, then there was no spittle.
