Dinomania Returns to Merthyr

Looking for a thrilling adventure that the entire family can enjoy? Look no further than Dinomania, where visitors can get up close and personal with some of history’s most fearsome beasts.

Following the success of last year’s event, Dinomania will once again be popping up in Graham Way, Merthyr Tydfil on Wednesday, April 5th.

From 11am to 2pm, visitors can immerse themselves in a prehistoric playground featuring realistic walking dinosaurs, small interactive puppets, animatronics, fossils, replicas, and more. Some of the dinosaurs are up to four metres in length, and they can walk, blink, and make realistic dinosaur noises.

For those who are a little more cautious, there are also baby dinosaurs ready to meet the crowds, including Bradley the baby brachiosaurus, Chip the infant raptor, Archie the ankylosaurus, and tiny Trixie the triceratops.

Dinomania is based in Swansea but travels all over the UK with its exciting dinosaur events and workshops. Ranger Chris and his dinosaurs have 900,000 YouTube subscribers and 1.5 million TikTok fans from all over the world.

They even reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2022. The team has expertise in subjects including paleobiology, the evolution of birds, and prehistoric ecosystems and is ready to share their knowledge with parents and kids alike.
