Covid-19: Nigeria Records 22 New Cases As Infection Hits 253,023 

On Sunday, January 30th, 2022, the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 rose to 253,023 after 22 new cases and zero deaths were reported in Nigeria.
Across its daily report on Coronavirus, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) stated that 229,019 cases have been discharged and 3,135 deaths have been documented in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, new cases have been reported from five states, with Osun State in South West Nigeria reporting the most, with nine new cases.
