Chris Brown apologizes to Robert Glasper and attributes his Grammys loss to the Academy

Chris Brown has informed the public that he has apologized to Robert Glasper for being a sour loser.

Brown threw a screaming rage on his Instagram Story after the pianist and music producer won the 2023 Grammy Award for Best R&B Album for “Black Radio III” on Sunday.

Returning to the scene of the crime on Monday, the 33-year-old creator of “Breezy” uploaded a screenshot of an explanation message he later gave to Glasper, 44.

“Congratulations, sibling.. “I would like to apologize if my behavior at the Grammys offended you,” Brown wrote, adding that he “came across as really rude and mean.”

The singer of “Deuces” subsequently redirected his wrath toward the Recording Academy, claiming Glasper was “not the intended target.”

On top of the screenshot of his communication, which Glasper had not yet “read,” he added three emojis:.

Brown had mocked Glasper’s achievements and asked his fans thrice, “WHO THE F–K IS THIS?!” Social media users criticized Brown for his behavior against his category rival, which included criticizing Glasper’s accomplishments and asking his followers three times, “WHO THE F–K IS THIS?”

In response, critics tweeted, “Get that domestic abuser off my screen,” “why he even gets nominated is BEYOND ME,” and “A classically trained pianist and artist with a spotless reputation beats someone who should never have been nominated, awww so sad.”

Brown has a history of violence towards love partners, including Rihanna and, allegedly, Karrueche Tran.

In 2012, he won only one of the twenty Grammy Awards for which he was nominated for his R&B album “F.A.M.E.”

Glasper has won five awards and garnered eleven nominations across eight categories.

In addition, he has written, produced, and played on albums by Mac Miller, Anderson Paak, Banks, Kendrick Lamar, Common, and others.
