Three students at the University of Idaho reported seeing quadruple murder suspect Bryan Kohberger loitering on campus in the weeks preceding the off-campus slayings, and described him as “the type to stare.”

One sophomore told People magazine that she observed Kohberger drinking water while sitting alone in the food court of the Student Union.

“He was of the staring sort. He would not avert his gaze if you caught him staring. As though he wanted you to realize that he was looking at you, Chelsea, a student, told the magazine.

“He did not grin, nod, or utter a single word. She stated, “I just stared.” “I told my friend not to be suspicious but to look at him because the eye contact made me feel uneasy.”

Chelsea added, “It was so strange that we ended up leaving and eating outside in order to avoid him.”

“He was of the staring sort. He would not avert his gaze if you caught him staring. “It was as if he wanted you to notice that he was looking at you,” remarked a student of Bryan Kohberger.

Another student stated that she observed Kohberger so frequently that she assumed he was enrolled at the University of Idaho.

“It’s more like a small town than a large school,” the unidentified youngster told People. Thus, you begin to see the same faces repeatedly. They become recognizable, as though you had seen them in class or around campus.”

The student characterized Kohberger as “just extremely quiet and intensely staring,” adding, “he made me uneasy.”

A third student told the news organization that they recognized Kohberger after he was arrested and charged in the November 13 stabbing deaths of Madison Mogen, 21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, at an Idaho rental home.

On November 13, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, her boyfriend, were murdered.

Kohberger is charged with four counts of murder and one count of felony burglary.

Recently, a law enforcement source told People that they suspect Kohberger spent time on the University of Idaho campus.

Mar Sampson, whose daughter was a student last semester, told the magazine, “Whether or not [Kohberger] is guilty of killing those children, something is wrong if a grown man who isn’t a student can freely roam around campus.”

She said, “Everyone must be extremely aware of their surroundings and should feel free to speak up if someone makes them uncomfortable.”

The claimed sightings by the three students were not the first instance in which Kohberger made ladies feel uneasy.

The owner of the Seven Sirens Brewing Company in Pennsylvania said Kohberger harassed women at his bar, where he usually sat alone “observing and watching” other patrons until he started drinking.

Employees were concerned enough about Kohberger’s behavior to create a note in the company’s system.

“Staff put in there: ‘Hey, this guy makes creepy comments, keep an eye on him.’ He’ll have two or three beers and then just get a little too comfortable,” owner Jordan Serulneck, 34, said.
