British Soap Awards was a night to remember! Here are the winners.

The casts of EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Doctors, and Coronation Street reunited for this year’s British Soap Awards, and it was a night to remember for the soaps.

Emmerdale and EastEnders both won four awards, with Emmerdale taking home the trophy for Best Soap.

In other news, Maximus Evans of Coronation Street won the prize for Best Villain for his portrayal of the villainous Corey Brent, and the cast of Doctors won the award for Best Single Episode.

Notably, the three viewer categories – Soap, Leading Performer and Family – all went to Emmerdale, as the appetite for the show in its 50th year remains high.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk on the red carpet, Paige Sandhu was up for a return of Meena Jutla but told us how proud she is to have played a part in the milestone year.
