Biography alleges Andrew ‘plot’ with Diana to stop Charles becoming king

An astonishing new biography claims that Prince Andrew conspired with Princess Diana and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to prevent Prince Charles from becoming King and allow Prince William to ascend the throne with the Duke of York as Regent.

Andrew is also reported to have “lobbied” the Queen and campaigned against the marriage of Charles and Camilla, who are now the King and Queen Consort, informing his mother that Camilla was untrustworthy.

Serialized in the Telegraph, Angela Levin’s new biography of Camilla asserts that the Duke of York was’very cruel’ to her and colluded with Princess Diana to prevent the Queen’s eldest son from becoming King.

Under his purported plan, William, then a teenager, would have been in line for the throne if the Queen had died, Charles had been forced out, and Andrew had been appointed Regent until William turned 18 years old.

Ms. Levin says, citing a’senior insider,’ that the Duke of York ‘conspired’ with Diana to ‘push Prince Charles aside’ so that Prince Andrew could become ‘Regent to Prince William’

She stated, “Andrew lobbied vigorously in the expectation that Charles would not become king after his mother’s death and that William would wear the crown.”

Ms. Levin noted that the Prince engaged in “vigorous lobbying” to prevent his older brother from ascending to the throne.

Prince Andrew allegedly “lobbied” the Queen to position himself as Prince William’s Regent.

Prince William is also rumored to have opposed King Charles’s marriage to Camilla.

If the Queen had died, the claimed Andrew conspiracy would have placed William on the throne with Andrew as Regent.

A’senior insider’ at the palace reportedly informed Ms. Levin: ‘When Diana was alive, through her friendship with Andrew’s wife Sarah, [the Duchess of York] conspired with Andrew to oust Prince Charles so that Prince Andrew could become Regent to Prince William, who was a teenager at the time.

It was a worrying time when paranoia became a reality, since it was dark and odd.

The bombshell charges are in the forthcoming biography about Camilla’s life by Angela Levin.

“The Queen [Elizabeth] objected with his behavior, which she deemed to be highly nasty and obnoxious.” It was reportedly one of the few times he didn’t get his way.

Despite this, he was supposedly furious that he was unable to lead the country in some capacity. He remained so antagonistic toward Camilla’s emergence and acceptance that it is unlikely he will ever be forgiven.

Buckingham Palace and the Duke of York’s agents have been approached for comment.

Ms. Levin also wrote about the Duke’s opposition to Charles’ marriage to Camilla, alleging that Andrew was “poisonous” and “quite rude” to the late Queen Elizabeth regarding her.

According to an insider, he attempted to persuade the Queen to prevent Charles from marrying Camilla by being exceedingly caustic, unpleasant, useless, and vile towards Camilla.

Among these allegations was that Camilla was inadequately aristocratic and unreliable.

Charles’ 50th birthday celebration was held in 1998, but the Queen and Prince Philip declined to attend in case Camilla was present.

Camilla’s close friend Lucia Santa Cruz stated, “When Camilla was married to Andrew Parker Bowles, she frequently joined the Royal family in Balmoral. They got along splendidly with her… But after the marriage broke and she was with Prince Charles, she was rejected and blamed for everything, which was extremely cruel.

Reportedly, the Duke of York and King Charles have had a tense relationship throughout the years, which has deteriorated considerably after the revelation of Prince Andrew’s ties to child molester Jeffrey Epstein.

When Buckingham Palace announced in January that the Prince would be stripped of all his military titles and patronages and would defend his sex abuse case against Virginia Giuffre as a private citizen, it was widely believed that the now-King had played a significant role in influencing the decision.

It is reported that the Queen has always favored her second son, the Duke of York.

Angela Levin was told by a palace insider that Prince Andrew was “poisonous” and “extremely unpleasant” towards Camilla (seen after the church blessing of their civil wedding).

It is believed that Princess Diana supported Prince William’s coming to the kingdom before his father.

At the time, palace insiders stated that the ‘ruthless and fast’ decision had been ‘widely debated’ among the Royal Family after Andrew’s unsuccessful attempt to convince the judge to dismiss the civil complaint.

It is believed that Prince Charles and his son William were “instrumental” in the decision to remove him as an active member of the royal family.

Charles reportedly shared his feelings about the choice with his mother through telephone.

An insider at the palace stated at the time, “It was a fast and merciless decision endorsed by the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge and approved by the Queen.”

Later, in February, it was claimed that Charles had instructed his brother to be “out of sight” at formal occasions.

Prince Andrew struck a settlement with Ms. Giuffre in which he did not admit guilt.

Angela Levin has previously produced biographies of members of the royal family, including biographies of Prince Harry (2018) and Prince William and Kate (2015).

Her most recent book, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall: From Outcast to Queen Consort, examines Camilla’s evolving relationship with top members of the royal family.
