Bernadette Hunt, better known by her stage name Falcon on the hit 90s show Gladiators, has passed away at the age of 59. The news was confirmed by her family on Facebook, where her sister’s partner paid tribute to her.

The post described her as one of the most loveliest people he had ever met, known for her friendly demeanor and willingness to sign autographs for anyone. Her sister’s partner also revealed that Bernadette had been battling cancer for some time before her passing.

The Life and Career of Bernadette Hunt

Bernadette was born in Brighton and started her career as a dancer at the age of 16. After a back injury, she turned to training as an aerobics instructor.

In 1992, she won the Miss Natural Health title, as well as several other titles, including Miss Novice Britain, Miss London and Home Countries 1992, and Miss South Britain. After Gladiators, Bernadette worked with charity Help the Aged and helped children with leukaemia.

Bernadette’s family confirmed that her funeral would be a private affair just for the family. Fans and former colleagues were quick to pay their respects on social media, with many describing her as a “beautiful soul”.
