During a day of fun at an indoor putt-putt course, two couples were detained when a furious fight broke out in front of frightened families.

On April 23, 2017, a violent altercation between two strangers took place at the Holey Moley Golf Club in Wollongong.

About 5 o’clock in the afternoon, Adam Jeffriess, 39, and Jessica Stanford, 26, were on the course when Ben Mark Everest, 35, and Chloe McDougall, 31, arrived at the location.

Watch where the f*** you are going!, McDougall said as Jeffries walked behind him in the CCTV footage shown before Wollongong Local Court.

After a short heated debate, the two returned to their own groups, but it didn’t take long for it to start all over again.

Jeffries was heard saying, “I wasn’t even near you. F*** off,” or words to that effect.

He then approached Everest and took a punch at him, to which McDougall immediately defended her former boyfriend.

Stanford seized McDougall, and the ladies immediately started fighting.

Almost 50 shocked diners look on in astonishment as their family members try to break up the fight.

Before workers were able to break up the brawl and police arrived shortly after, several individuals were knocked to the ground during the altercation and were seen screaming on Surveillance footage.

Although McDougal was able to evade incarceration because she had four children to take care of, Jeffriess, Stanford, and Everest were all taken into custody.

Despite the fact that his case has not yet been resolved, Jeffriess admitted to taking part in the altercation and was called the “chief instigator” by the court.

Everest and Stanford both filed guilty pleas to affray, while McDougall and Stanford both admitted guilt to counts of common assault.

Everest said, “That never should have occurred,” when asked what he had learned from the experience, according to the Illawarra Mercury.

Magistrate Michael O’Brien freed the group from charges and allowed them to go.
