BE ACTIVE, SAYS STAFF THE NEW PERMANENT SECRETARY OF THE WATERFRONT INFRASTRUCTURE MINISTRY.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretary for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Engr. Oluwole Sotire, has charged the staff to be proactive and do their best to actualise the mandate of the Ministry and contribute their quota to the development of the State.

Engr. Sotire gave the charge on Monday in his address to the workforce during a ceremony organised by the staff to welcome him to the Ministry, adding that he will use his wealth of experience to harness the potential of waterfront development in the State.

He, however, solicited the support and cooperation of all members of staff in moving the Ministry forward, urging them to come up with innovative ideas that would complement his vision for the Ministry in line with the policy framework of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s drive for waterfront infrastructure development in Lagos State.

While pointing out the need to pay special focus on water transportation development, which is key to the intermodal transportation programme of the present administration, the Permanent Secretary promised to work with members of staff to ensure their welfare is paramount.
