As a Russian fire dancer tries to blow a column of flame, his mouth suddenly catches fire as his kerosene dramatically ignites

After a fire dancer’s performance went horribly wrong in front of dozens of tourists, including kids, he sustained severe burns to his mouth and face.

Video captures Grigory, 35, performing on the embankment in Feodosia, a resort on the Crimean peninsula that Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014.

On a warm summer night, he spins a stick with fire coming out of both ends in front of a group of families and tourists. He must have practiced this stunt a lot.

The Russian attempts to blow a column of flame, but his kerosene dramatically ignites as his mouth suddenly catches fire.

He covers his mouth with his palm as he collapses to the ground as a firestorm engulfs him as the performance abruptly fails.

Heroic spectators rush to save the injured performer, dousing the flames with their bare hands and articles of clothes.

According to reports, paramedics arrived on the scene soon.

The performer was described as having a “severe but stable” condition by the Crimean Health Ministry.

According to a statement, “The victim was hospitalized to Simferopol Clinical Emergency Hospital No. 6.”

His mouth and face were the predominant areas of burn damage.

According to the Mash news outlet, the issue might have been brought on by the subpar kerosene used in his fire dance performance.

Police are looking into what happened.
