An escaped raging bull stormed through the bank’s hallways on Monday, sending employees running and prompting a frenzied scramble inside.
Before the enormous beast made its way inside, the strange occurrence started in a parking lot outside the Bank Leumi building, close to Tel Aviv.
CCTV video captured the bull barreling around workplace hallways with a rope hanging from its neck as employees desperately tried to tame it.
The bull had to be recaptured by its owner and brought away, according to a statement from the bank that verified the occurrence.
The parking is located in the industrial area north of Lod, which is a district southeast of Tel Aviv. Video from the car park shows the powerful animal dashing through cars and straight towards bystanders, who fled for safety.
It quickly moved towards the building and entered through the main door, startling the workers within.
The animal was shown on camera inside the building sliding on the glossy floor as it rushed around turns and pursued humans along hallways in search of an escape.
Other individuals could be seen making an attempt to get the bull’s attention in an effort to get it to leave the structure.
The owner of the bull was eventually located and summoned to the site. According to the Israeli publication Israel Hayom, a veterinarian was also contacted in case the animal required tranquilization.
The owner put up a trap to capture the bull at the end of the hallway using ropes and assistance from those working in the office building.
In another video, a guy can be seen heroically grabbing the bull’s attention before running away from it down the hallway and leading the animal into the rope.
The bull looks to be wary of the ropes strung across the entranceway for a brief period of time in the video but finally passes through nevertheless.
The guy is able to tighten the rope around the beast once it falls around its neck.
The bull flees away from the guy as the video finishes, but the man swiftly chases it into another hallway.
A bull entered one of Bank Leumi’s office buildings in Lod early this morning. The bank stated in a statement that he was apprehended and escorted outside the building.
Meanwhile, the occurrence was reported to the municipal veterinary services and the local authorities. No one was hurt, and no harm was done.
It was not immediately obvious how or from where the ball had escaped.
