The embattled former chairman of the disciplinary committee of the Park Management System (PMS), in Oyo State, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi, better known as Auxiliary, has responded to the police declaration stating that they cannot declare him wanted.

He asserts that the declaration cannot be meant for him and denies responsibility for stockpiling the recently discovered weapons at his residence.

This comes after the Oyo State Police Command declared him wanted during a press briefing on Friday.

Auxiliary Makes Statement from Hideout and Denies Involvement

Auxiliary made his statement on a live radio program in Ibadan, the state capital, from his hideout on Saturday morning.

He questioned how he could have hidden or stockpiled those weapons at his residence, emphasizing his innocence.

Furthermore, he assured that he is a peace-loving individual and would abide by whatever decision Governor Seyi Makinde takes regarding transport unions in the state.

Auxiliary Cautions Followers and Supporters Against Violence

Auxiliary urged his followers and supporters to refrain from causing trouble or engaging in acts of violence in Ibadan and other parts of the state.

He explicitly expressed his disapproval of any form of violence.

Moreover, he spoke highly of Governor Makinde and his ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro, acknowledging them as his benefactors.

Auxiliary emphasized that no person, regardless of their influence, is bigger than the government.

Auxiliary’s Commitment to Reform and Integration

Auxiliary pledged his compliance and cooperation with the reform and integration of other driver unions into the PMS.

He stated that if the new reform does not favor him, he is willing to accept the outcome.
