After IRA donated $80b for extra police, RNC protesters disguised as IRS agents

To draw attention to the Inflation Reduction Act, which provides $80 million to recruit extra agents for audits, protesters disguised as IRS agents were stationed at Democratic politicians’ offices around the nation.

Images of demonstrators outside the RNC field offices show them carrying posters that read “Thanks for employing me” and “Income Removal Service,” which is another name for the IRS while wearing black suits and sunglasses.

Other banners ask for “more Border Agents” and “few IRS enforcers,” especially in border regions like Texas.

The RNC’s push comes after every single Democrat in Congress supported the Inflation Reduction Act, which Republicans allege would result in higher taxes for the majority of Americans.

The Internal Revenue Service will hire 87,000 additional agents and conduct more tax return audits as a result of the $80 billion in the IRA. This might result in Americans paying more in taxes.

The money would enable 1 million more audits of Americans earning less than $200,000 yearly each year.

According to a CBS story from March 2022, the IRS currently audits low-income families with yearly incomes of under $25,000 five times more often than it does other income categories.

The RNC has nicknamed the Bidenflation Scam plan from the IRA Democrats, claiming that it would not lower inflation but instead increase tax burdens on regular Americans.

The momentous law will not increase middle-class taxes, according to the White House, which also claimed it would help to lower record-high inflation.

As he signed the legislation into law last week, President Joe Biden said, “I’m following my campaign vow.”

He insisted that “no one” who made less than $400,000 annually would have to pay any more federal taxes.

An RNC Florida Deputy State Director tweeted, “Charlie Crist voted to boost taxes AND supersize the IRS,” with pictures of demonstrators wearing suits and carrying signs.

Representative Charlie Crist allegedly phoned the police on the demonstrators when they showed up outside his Florida house, according to the RNC.

Another group of demonstrators outside New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan’s office said, “Thanks for employing me, Maggie.”

The three recently recruited IRS agents were jokingly said to be dropping by the GOP’s New Hampshire and Maine communications director’s office to express their gratitude for their new employment.

Other protestors appeared at a gathering for Cheri Beasley, who is running for the North Carolina Senate. They were clad in suits and sunglasses.

According to the RNC, Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock recognised the protestors during his appearance.

The demonstrators wore name tags with a fictitious IRS employee number in the 86,000s and were wearing black t-shirts. In addition, they carried placards that said, “Warnock sends us to audit you.”

Protesters visited Representative Matt Cartwright’s office in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the hometown of Vice President Joe Biden.

One protester’s sign says, “Biden is the pay cut POTUS.”

A tweet with pictures of the demonstrators predicted Cartwright’s defeat in November: “The voters in #PA8 will send him packing!!!”

The demonstrators in Texas visited the offices of Reps. Vicente Gonzalez and Henry Cuellar, whom they dubbed “inflation-lovers,” demanded their resignation.

We don’t have enough IRS auditors, Iowa Representative Cindy Axe said last week as Biden signed the IRA into law.

Republicans don’t concur.
