Adults forbid parents from removing fading childhood hero posters

According to a survey, four out of ten people have forbidden their parents from removing the worn-out bedroom posters of their idols from their youth.

According to research, 38% of houses still have vintage photographs of celebrities like Mick Jagger, Kylie Minogue, and martial arts icon Bruce Lee. Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and George Best are among more favorites.

Although 53% of parents said they would feel ashamed if guests saw the faded posters, their adult children claim that they find them “comforting” when they visit their childhood homes. 72% of couples said they thought it was “strange” to see when they visited their in-laws.

The parents of my boyfriend are now in their 70s, but they still have to put up with a photo of Bruce Lee hanging in his former bedroom, said Michelle Johnson, 58, of Doncaster. He won’t let them to remove it. I’ve told him it’s strange and that I don’t like it, but all he does is talk about how important Bruce Lee was in his life.

More than 57% of people still reside in a bedroom at their parents’ house, and 2/3 of them say it hasn’t changed since they were kids.

Argos, which conducted the survey of 2,000 individuals, stated in a statement: “Many people have an emotional relationship. They stand for memories that none of us want to lose.
